Equipped with two automation units – one loading and one unloading unit – the LaserFLEX enables de-coupled material handling for laser cutting systems. After the cutting process, a fork unit lifts the processed metal sheet from the shuttle table. Simultaneously, a new sheet from the connected storage facility is transported by a vacuum unit. Once the sheet is staged next to the laser system, the unloader loads the machine with the workpiece. This entire process takes just one minute. With LaserFLEX, downtimes for integrated laser cutting machines are virtually eliminated, as even high-speed lasers are optimally supported.
