Coordinate Drilling Machine/Jig Borer in outstanding exceptional condition from second ownership (41 years with previous owner). Electrical system partially overhauled and modernized. Comprehensive tool package in as-new condition including HENKA tool cabinet.

The machine was last located in a prototype workshop of a large enterprise and has not been used for many years.

The coordinate drilling machine is equipped with the rare motorized table feed option on the X and Y axes, including potentiometer. Tedious manual cranking to move to coordinates over longer distances is thus eliminated. Additionally, it features the rare thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. Two dedicated heaters are provided for this, which must be switched on separately before starting work and to ensure high precision and dimensional accuracy. This explains the factory-specified high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

A unique feature: the Hauser is equipped with two Heidenhain digital readouts and a total of four glass scales with 1μm resolution, including for the quill feed. This is a significant advantage for precise drilling and depth facing with Wohlhaupter, spindle tools, etc. With these options and in this top condition, this is currently a one-of-a-kind item on the market and is unlikely to be found again in this form.

Experts familiar with these machines, which are predominantly used in the watchmaking industry, precision engineering, materials testing, and the optical industry, know the value of these masterpieces of mechanical engineering. Also ideally suited for testing laboratories, technical universities and training, materials engineering, special machine construction, etc.
